Thompson Oaks has been around since 1997 and has always been described as
"The Hidden Gem of West St Paul". The course is maintained at the highest level and our clubhouse staff is among the friendliest around, that is what keeps our customers coming back. Why drive to another golf course when you can hop on one that is almost in your backyard? Time that is spent waiting to get on other courses is time spent golfing at Thompson Oaks.
Thompson Oaks Golf Course is one of the City's best kept secrets and most everyone who knows and plays our course agrees.

This par 29 executive course is great for golfers of all skill levels. It challenges the low handicapper yet remains fun for the novice player.
The course is laid out with everyone in mind. Seven of the holes have bunkers and water comes in to play on three holes, including the par 4 7th, which is drivable if you dare try!

Don't leave any clubs at home if you come and play here, you will need them all.

Thompson Oaks contracts with Pete LaCoursiere, our golf pro, for group and individual lessons, call the Clubhouse at 651-457-6064 to arrange for lessons. Cost is $55 per hour for residents, $65 for non-residents. Groups of four or more can get three 55-minute lessons for $55, spread out over three weeks .

Our 2010 goals include:
1. Improved customer service - create a warm, welcoming, family-friendly environment.
2. Decreased costs - Maintain the course at the same or higher level while decreasing the cost to maintain it.
3. Increase the number of golfers - to include leagues, tournaments and walk-on golfers.
4. Offer a golf camp for kids, putting tournaments, family and friends tournaments and professional golf lessons for golfers at all levels.
